As we move into this new year, I’ve found myself thinking a lot about peace—and unity.
There’s no denying the world feels loud right now. Divided. Heavy in ways that can be hard to escape. And while I don’t pretend that stories can fix everything, I do believe they can offer something just as important: a place to rest your mind for a while.
That’s my hope for the stories I write.
A cozy distraction.
A few hours of entertainment.
A small town where curiosity matters, community still exists, and justice—eventually—finds its way to the surface.
I want my books to feel like stepping inside a familiar place. One where you can sip your coffee, settle in, and let the outside chaos fade into the background. Even if just for a chapter or two.
And speaking of chapters… I’m thrilled to share that I’m almost halfway through the next full-length book in this series. Watching the story take shape has been energizing, exciting, and honestly—hard to step away from. The characters are settling in, the clues are lining up, and the mystery is starting to twist in all the right ways.
If all goes as planned, I’ll be announcing the official release on January 29, and I cannot wait to share it with you.
As we move forward together into this year, my wish is simple: more kindness, more connection, and more moments that remind us we’re not alone—even in uncertain times.
Thank you for being here. For reading. For supporting stories that value curiosity, compassion, and a little cozy escape.
The next Murder Mystery Book is coming soon. 💫📚
